Why is FindHello ending?

We created FindHello to help immigrants find resources and services in their communities. However, we have grown concerned that the information in this app could be misused to target the very people we set out to help.

The safety of our users is our top priority. After careful consideration, we believe removing the app is the right thing to do.

What does this mean?

The app will be taken down and:

How do I find other help?

There are other ways to connect to support in your local area.

Call or visit 211.org to find local help with food, housing, health care, and other basic needs.
Use FindHelp.org to search for free or low-cost services near you.
Find legal help by learning how to look for a lawyer in our guide.
Check local government websites such as an Office of New Americans for programs and listed services in your area.
Visit a public library for internet access, forms, and help finding local resources.
