Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) offer protection to people in the USA who cannot safely go back to their home country. This can be because of conflict or natural disasters. TPS and DED are temporary forms of immigration status. They do not give you any permanent immigration status.
