You can re-register for TPS El Salvador through March 18, 2025. If you re-register, your temporary protected status will now be extended to September 9, 2026. Learn about the process and get work permit information.

If you do not have TPS Ethiopia, you can apply now through December 12, 2025. If you are granted temporary protected status, it will be valid through December 12, 2025. Learn if you are eligible and how to apply. Also, find information for those who already have TPS.

If you do not have TPS Haiti, you can apply now through February 3, 2026. If you are granted temporary protected status, it will be valid through February 3, 2026. Learn if you are eligible and how to apply. Also, find information for those who already have TPS.

You can now re-register for TPS Honduras through July 5, 2025. If you re-register, your temporary protected status will extend to July 5, 2025. Learn about the process and get work permit information.

DED Hong Kong has been extended for 24 months. It is now effective through February 5, 2025, and will likely be extended to February 5, 2027. We will share more details after the federal register is published. You do not need to apply for DED Hong Kong to receive its benefits.

DED Lebanon is effective through January 25, 2026. You do not need to apply for DED Lebanon to receive benefits. Learn if you are eligible and get work and travel permit information.

You can now apply for TPS Lebanon through May 27, 2026. If you are granted temporary protected status, it will be valid through May 27, 2026. Learn if you are eligible and how to apply.

DED Liberia is effective through June 30, 2026. You do not need to apply for DED Liberia to receive benefits.

You can now re-register for TPS Nepal through June 24, 2025. If you re-register, your temporary protected status will extend to June 24, 2025. Learn about the process and get work permit information.

You can now re-register for TPS Nicaragua through July 5, 2025. If you re-register, your temporary protected status will extend to July 5, 2025. Learn about the process and get work permit information. 

DED Palestine is effective through August 13, 2025. You do not need to apply for DED Palestine to receive benefits. Learn if you are eligible and get work and travel permit information.

If you do not have TPS Somalia, you can apply now through March 17, 2026. If you are granted temporary protected status, it will be valid through March 17, 2026. Learn if you are eligible and how to apply. Also, find information for those who already have TPS.

If you do not have TPS South Sudan, you can apply now through May 3, 2025. If you are granted temporary protected status, it will be valid through May 3, 2025. Learn if you are eligible and how to apply. Also, find information for those who already have TPS.

TPS Sudan has been extended to October 19, 2026. If you already have TPS Sudan from a previous designation, you must re-register by April 19, 2025, to extend your status.  If you do not have TPS Sudan, you can apply now through April 19, 2025.
