Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) is granted through the President’s power in foreign relations. Under DED, individuals are protected from deportation and can request work authorization.

DED Hong Kong

DED Hong Kong has been extended for 24 months. It is now effective through February 5, 2027. You do not need to apply for DED Hong Kong to receive its benefits.
